Booking your swim sessions
We accept all major credit and debit cards (except American Express). If you have a PayPal account, you can use that also.
When paying for your booking you will be taken to PayPal our payment provider to complete payment. Please note: we DO NOT store your credit/debit card details on our web site
Before making a booking, it is important to note the following conditions:
No Refunds! Once you have booked a swim session you can cancel the booking. However, we cannot issue refunds on purchased tickets except in circumstances where the Pool Team have to cancel the session for some unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather (i.e. thunder and lightning). The reason is that we have to pay our payment provider commission on both taking payment and refunding any payments. Therefore, please make sure you book the correct session and at the time you want. If it is a family session, make sure you have included all the people who will attend the session.
Name, Email address and mobile number: You will need to provide your name, a valid email address and a mobile telephone number. NOTE: This information is required for track and trace purposes if and when we have to do this. If you are booking a Family Ticket you will need to enter the names of each person attending whether it be an adult, child or infant.
Register for an Account: If you intend to book a number of sessions during the season, we suggest you register for an account. The reason for this is that once you have registered, your details will be stored on the web site. When you come to make your next booking and you login, your contact details will be automatically filled in on the booking form, saving you having enter them each time you book a session. You will also be able to see all your booking history and tickets on the website
Payment: We use PayPal to handle payments for your tickets. If you have a PayPal account you can login to your PayPal account during the payment process to pay via your PayPal account, Alternatively, you can use your credit or debit card. Please note: we do not store your credit/debit card details on our servers. After the payment processing is completed you will see a box 'Return to Merchant'. Please make sure you tick the box to return to our booking system, your ticket is only issued once you have ticked the 'Return to Merchant'
Go to Book a Swim on this website. Check the sessions that meet your requirements. For individual swims (i.e. Fitness swims) you can only book one person per session. If you have an account, please log in before you book, as it will save you having to enter your details as these will be automatically filled in for you.
Firstly, please check your junk or spam folder as many email systems place emails that are not in your contact list in these folders. Failing that you could have entered an incorrect email address during the booking process. If you cannot find your booking, please contact the Pool Team via our Contact Page with your name and the date and time of your booking.
If you have an account with us, you can cancel your booking from your account. Go to your registration history and cancel the relevant session.
To change a booking please contact the Pool Team via our Contact Page. Please make sure you provide your name, email address, date and time of the booking and details of the new booking you would like. Please note we cannot guarantee you will get the new session you want, particularly for popular sessions.
No, we do not operate a waiting list system. However, it is worth checking sessions that are coming up to see if slots have become available as people do sometimes cancel at a late stage.
No for all sessions, including drop-ins. You may wait outside the gate until your session start.
Are there concessions available?
The Trustees have reflected on different ways of supporting our community and keeping things simple and flexible. There are student concessions - these are for those who are 17 years old plus and in full-time education (ID will need to be shown on each visit).
We run an Inclusive swim on a Sunday morning - details on the website here which welcomes those who need such a facility plus they can bring a swim buddy for free (i.e. swimmer pays and can have one free swim buddy in pool and one free buddy on pool side). If you are a family who would benefit from this slot then let us know as we can accommodate your family swimming too as paid swimmers.
There are no other concessions.
Q: Is there any Priority Booking?
A: No, all our swim sessions are based on a first come, first served basis.
We DO NOT have priority booking for any sessions or anyone, including Season Ticket Holders.
For pre-booked sessions, booking opens approximately 8 days in advance.
Please be prepared to see some popular session times fill up quickly.
If you have purchased a Season Ticket, you are entitled to free entry to all swim sessions except Aqua Aerobics and Inclusive Swims.
To ensure you get free entry you will need to Sign in to your account prior to making the booking. Once you have logged in to your account you can make a booking. You will see the price of the swim session; however, you will get a 100% discount and therefore will not be charged for the session or taken to the payment process.
The Season Ticket Holder swims are free as well, but you will see that there is no price on these. You will not see the Season Ticket Holder swims until you login to your account.
