Information for Disabled Visitors
Yes!
We have a disabled changing room with a full-length changing table, toilet and shower for our less abled visitors who might need it.
To help our less abled visitors enter and exit the pool we have a portable pool hoist to help provide safe entry and exit into the pool. Our lifeguards are fully trained in the operation of this piece of equipment.
The pool has a ramp access for wheelchair users but no dedicated car parking spaces.
The pool is located on Riverside Walk, a walking path which is wide enough to accommodate a disabled scooter with caution and then there is a ramp from the footpath to the pool.
We would recommend you contact the Pool Manager prior to your arrival so that we can arrange to give you the easiest access possible. Please contact the pool manager via our Contact page or call 01285 653947. Note: this phone is only manned during opening hours of the pool

Our Inclusive Swim sessions welcome people with both physical and mental health issues. They are designed to give you the opportunity to improve your wellbeing and confidence through swimming. Places on this swim are limited to provide plenty of time and space in the pool.
Examples of people who enjoy these sessions include people with Asperger's, dementia, body confidence issues and acute anxiety.
Buddies
You can bring up to two 'Buddies' to enable you to access this session, however only one 'Buddy' can swim with you.
There is NO entry fee for Buddies.
